“ I went on a public holiday without booking. At first I was politely turned down as they are fully booked and awaiting for 10 parties/tables of customer to arrive. When I expressed I am willing to wait, they allow me to wait while seated with drinks served. We waited for one hour but it is fair because they have told me I have to wait at least 1 hr. Hence they kept their promise. The 上汤苋菜。is really good. Soft and fresh and not too salty for my liking. Salted egg mantis prawn (forgot to take picture) a bit too soggy and not enough salted egg fragrance. Kong po sotong which is not within the menu(because I requested non deep fried cooking style for sotong) is flavourful and sotong is very fresh. The variant in menu is not many but understandable because there is only one chef for this family business. Whole dinner for 2 pax cost less than Rm76 which is very affordable. Wont mind coming back again. ”
“ The Xiong Tong Lala (Clams) is very yummy. We will try their mantis prawn on the next visit. ”
“ Taste is good. Recommended by local people to eat here. The boss also cook so that it can maintain the taste of the food. Located beside the river, so can see beautiful river view while eating. Best view when sun is going to set. Price is ok and average and no tour grp come here, so can enjoy food with peace. ”
“ Small hidden seafood restaurant located beside a small temple in KS. Family run business with very limited tables and selection of cooking styles. Tried their signature curry fish and garlic fried chicken. Overall very decent, not bursting with flavours but acceptable. Pricing is also acceptable in comparison with the neighbouring seafood restaurant. Parking is definitely a challenge, need park a distance away. ”
“ Good quality food by Chef Seong who runs the restaurant with his wife. Ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Personally liked and would strongly recommend the toufu and crab thick soup... very comforting. The steamed fish and crab are well done too. Most importantly, Chef Seong and his wife are super friendly! And the sunset view is pretty too. ”
“ fast service, big portion, cheap price, nice taste. definitely will come back again. ”
“ The foods are a bit pricey. I love the mayonnaise prawn mantis meat, it's not hard but crispy. The sauce of sour sweet fish is so appetizing. The crabs taste fresh. Taufu soup delicious, have some crab meats in it, but have to finished it before getting cold. Overall taste good. ”
